We’re very sorry to hear that Jhoon Rhee Springfield has closed its doors. For many years, JRI Springfield and (as it was known before) All Star Martial Arts was the home for Mizu Iwa Isshinryu Karate. We met at their school, trained with their students and were one big martial arts family.

We wish all the best to Jhoon Rhee and most especially to John and Martha Locke as they move on from running the school.

For those of you looking for Martial Arts Training in the Springfield Area, we invite you to visit Mizu Iwa Isshinryu, meeting at Olympus Gym at 8:00 on Tuesday and Thrusday nights.
